THETA was a pretty forgiving puzzle because it gave you two vowels right away—the E and A are positioned so naturally that most players probably landed on them early. The double T could have been a curveball for some people, especially if you were thinking of words with single consonants, but it's common enough in English that it shouldn't have derailed you too badly. The main trap was probably overthinking the TH combination since so many Wordle answers use those letters, so you might've wasted guesses on words like THOSE or THERE before remembering that Greek letters were fair game.
