A pangram uses all seven of the day's letters at least once. It scores its word length plus a 7-point bonus, and every puzzle has at least one.

What score do I need for Genius?

Genius requires 70% of the puzzle's total available points. Queen Bee — finding every single word — is the unofficial 100% rank.

Why isn't my word accepted in Spelling Bee?

The Bee uses a curated list: very obscure words, proper nouns and hyphenated words are excluded. Words must be 4+ letters and must include the centre letter.
