UNCUT was a pretty tricky one today because it's not a word that comes up in everyday conversation—most people think of "cut" as a verb rather than reaching for "uncut" as an adjective. The vowel placement was brutal too, with both U and the single A crammed into the first two positions, which meant you had to guess pretty specifically to land it. The double letter trap also got a lot of people, since that second U right at the start made folks wonder if there were repeated letters hiding elsewhere in the word. If you nailed it, you probably had a solid first guess that landed on U and some of the later consonants—otherwise it was basically a guessing game in the final rounds.
