The puzzle, explained

The purple group is all about the first word of European league champions from last season: Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, and Club Brugge. The tricky part is that "CLUB" doesn't sound like a traditional team name, but Club Brugge actually won the Belgian Pro League, so it fits perfectly. "PARIS" was probably the most deceptive bait since it could easily fool you into thinking about PSG players or transfer window locations, and "MONEY" from the blue group might've tempted you since Bayern and PSG are known for spending big. The green group's "SIGNING" and "SALARY" were also sneaky because they could theoretically relate to European transfers, but they're really about the mechanics of deadline day itself.
