The puzzle, explained

The purple group is all Premier League goalkeepers who've won the Golden Glove award—Raya, Reina, Szczęsny, and Sels—but the real trick is that three of them (Raya, Reina, and Sels) sound like or literally mean "net" or "goal" in Spanish or other languages, which could totally fool you into grouping them with the "Golden ___" category instead. Speaking of baits, "GLOVE" in the green group was definitely meant to make you think about goalkeeping and the Golden Glove award, potentially pulling your eye away from the actual purple category. The blue group (Spanish clubs starting with Atlético, Deportivo, Celta, and Rayo) was another trap because those last three words are also common Spanish words, which could create false connections if you weren't thinking about club names specifically.
