The puzzle, explained

The purple group is all players who scored at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations—Congo, Banda, Sery, and Konan are their last names. The tricky part is that Congo, Cameroon, and Algeria were all countries that *competed* in that tournament, so your brain wants to lump them together as geographic locations rather than realizing Congo is actually a person's surname. Banda, Sery, and Konan aren't famous enough to immediately ping as player names, which makes it even harder to separate them from the country names. Once you lock in the yellow group of four countries, you've basically got to take a leap of faith that the remaining words are all surnames of scorers from that same tournament—which is pretty obscure unless you really follow women's African football!
